On Tuesday evening the Governors of City College Norwich visited the College to meet students and staff, and this included four young people from MINT.
They met people who are actively working towards paid employment and spoke to them about how they find working with MINT, how it helps them, what they like about it and whether there is anything else they would like to do that they are not already. They were accompanied by one of our Employment Job Coaches, Sarah Bird, who said “I was really proud of the four young people who gave up their time. Meeting the College Governors was a potentially daunting experience but they were all very professional and spoke confidently about their experiences at MINT.”
Sarah was also able to talk to the Governors about our successes, give them information about how many people we get into work and importantly, how many stay in work. The Governors were very impressed and seemed to really enjoy meeting our MINT representatives.
Thank you to the four who did this in their own time and well done!
