On Saturday 5th December Nathan Catchpole, who has been featured on this blog in the past, had a stand in The Forum to sell Christmas cards featuring his own photography. This is the third consecutive year Nathan has done this and represents a great opportunity not only for him to make money but also to promote his wonderful images. Nathan likes to photograph landscapes and architecture mostly, and takes advantage of both the stunning cityscapes we have and of course the beautiful Norfolk countryside, particularly the coast.
Nathan likes to edit his images using Photoshop and in his Christmas designs has added soft snow flurries to create atmosphere (not something he can capture naturally in this strangely mild December we are currently experiencing!) The images he sold this year included iconic Norwich landmarks such as City Hall, the market and the Cathedral, and on Saturday Nathan sold 119 cards. These unique cards are great to give to relatives living far away so they can find out what Norwich looks like and those who buy them are supporting a young creative talent. Nathan is always happy to talk to people about his work and The Forum was especially busy on Saturday which resulted in a huge amount of footfall at his stand.
If you would like to purchase any of Nathan’s designs he will be selling them again before Christmas – please contact us to find out more.
