One of our young people is making impressive inroads into his own photography business. Nathan, 23, has been interested in photography since the age of 19 and specialises in architecture and landscapes.
Completely self-taught, Nathan was receiving support from MINT in looking for employment and has now gained a paid job as a cleaner. However he also spends a lot of time working on his photography and in December decided to embark on a venture to sell some of his images.
Nathan used some of his favourite winter scenes to create seasonal cards which he sold firstly in the StartUp Lounge at City College Norwich and then in The Forum with the support of Jarrolds and The Forum Shop. They went down so well that Nathan sold out of many of his designs and made a nice profit to help him continue his venture.
In the last few months Nathan has been experimenting with new effects such as neon to develop his work further, and is enjoying making the most of the warm summer months to photograph the beautiful Norfolk coastline.
