This week our very own Mark Surridge appeared on Mustard TV to talk about the work we do at MINT.
Mark talked about why the project started, a bit about the age group of people we work with and why they have come to us for support, as well as how we help people. Some interesting issues arose too, such as whether there is enough support in schools to prepare young people for moving into employment, and the stigma attached to young people who do not move into work straight away or stay into work. Mark was able to highlight the importance of employer engagement in the work that we do.
Retired Norwich City footballer Darren Eadie, who co-presents the show, also asked Mark the age-old question that everyone asks us – what does MINT stand for?
